Eyeliner Permanent eyeliner is a cosmetic procedure that involves implanting pigment into the lash line to create the appearance of eyeliner. It's also known as an eyeliner tattoo or cosmetic tattooing. Here are some things to know about permanent eyeliner: Appearance Permanent eyeliner can be customized to create a variety of looks, including winged, smokey, or lash enhancements. Longevity Permanent eyeliner can last for 1–5 years, but the exact duration depends on several factors, including skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Aftercare After the procedure, the pigment will fade and lighten by 20–50%. It's important to follow aftercare instructions and attend any required touch-up appointments. Factors that affect longevity Sun exposure, exfoliating products, harsh chemicals, rubbing the eyes, sweating, and chlorinated water can all cause the pigment to fade more quickly. Healing process The skin may look like it's fading too quickly while it's healing, but this is normal. The scabs will fall off after a few days, and the pigment should start to come back after about a week.

Eyebrows Permanent eyebrows, also known as microblading, cosmetic tattooing, or micro-pigmentation, is a cosmetic procedure that uses a hollow needle to apply pigment under the skin to create hair-like strokes that resemble makeup. Permanent eyebrows can be used to: Enhance or reshape eyebrows Reconstruct brows that have thinned due to age or over-tweezing Fill in spaces to give the appearance of a full brow Save time in the morning by eliminating the need to apply makeup Permanent eyebrows can be beneficial for people with: Sparse or uneven eyebrows Lack of eyebrow hairs Oily skin that sheds conventional cosmetics Allergies to conventional cosmetics Visual impairments Contact lenses Unsteady or arthritic hands Here are some things to expect after getting permanent eyebrows: The eyebrows will appear 20–25% darker and bolder in width than they will be when healed. The skin under the pigment will be red and slightly swollen. Exfoliation will begin in a few days, causing the excess pigment to flake away. New skin will heal over the pigmented area, resulting in a softer appearance. The longevity of permanent eyebrows depends on the type of procedure: Microblading: Lasts 1–2 years Powder Eyebrow Tattoo: Lasts 1.5–5 years
